SIMON DOWNHAM-KNIGHT

Simon studied film and animation at Farnborough and has been writing and making films for the last fifteen years. His work includes the feature scripts for Lizard Point which was optioned by Working Title in 2001 and Vincent and Vida which was top ten on Triggerstreet.com and nominated for screenplay of the month. Most recently, he wrote and directed the short film Mano a Mano and is working on several follow up projects with the actor Tristram Shackerley-Bennett. Simon was also once part of Snooze Industries; an art collective that created projected club night visuals using super 8, slides and video.

ZIBI AMBROZIAK

Zibi studied Polish Philology in his home country. It was during this that he discovered his passion for photography and filmmaking. In 2004 he moved to the UK and decided to get a degree in Media Production. Since then he has developed skills as an editor and cameraman working on projects both commercial and artistic. His self disciplined character has led to many successful, completed productions including a music videos for Welsh singer Klash Gabriel and the documentary, Recycled Teenagers, a sweet story about retired singers. Zibi has a passion for story telling through documentary, his focus covers different genres and styles.

TRISTRAM SHACKERLEY-BENNET

Tristram is a real creative force here at Hidden Shallows and mainly works in the creative division, both devising, writing and acting in our productions which include Mano a Mano and This is Brenda and This is Ken.

Tristram spent five years touring with his company Big Love Inflatable Church and has performed at countless festivals including The Big Chill, Bestival and Electric Picnic. He also fronts Dubious, a high energy acid punk band.
